 CAREER OBJECTIVE

My primary objective is to get a full-time academic position that will allow me to continue to pursue my research, and complete my contracted monograph and edited collection. In order to achieve this aim, I have been applying for appropriate academic positions while teaching online courses as an adjunct instructor, focusing on publishing, and serving as the founding president for the Society for Philosophy of Emotion and the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Philosophy of Emotion (JPE). Finally, I am currently working on restructuring the organization of the JPE in order to pave the way for a more balanced academic life once I achieve my primary objective. 

 

RESEARCH AREAS

AOS:   Philosophy of emotion, which includes philosophy of mind, epistemology, philosophy of science, and moral psychology

AOC:   Metaphysics, ethics, feminist philosophy, social and political philosophy, history of Modern philosophy, Ancient philosophy, experimental philosophy, philosophy of public policy
